DELL INSPIRON DESKTOP (3891) Review
For $392 as tested, this family-friendly pc offers a decently strong Intel Core i3 CPU, Wi-Fi 6, and Windows 11. The pricing even includes a DVD burner and a 12-month membership to McAfee LiveSafe. Because of its integrated graphics, Inspiron does not perform well in many games, although it is adequate for general usage. Overall, the Inspiron Desktop 3891 is a compelling justification for not paying more for a basic PC, and it shares our Editors’ Choice title for budget desktops with the Acer Aspire TC-895-UA91, a somewhat more costly tower with greater storage.
The Inspiron Desktop 3891 is simple yet acceptable. The Dell seems more premium than its pricing suggests; its black shell goes with everything, and the cross-patterned front panel adds interest.
The tower is made entirely of steel with the exception of a plastic front panel and weighs around 11 pounds. From behind, some exposed steel may be seen.
